Looking Ahead: Westward Waters in 2025

Hello adventurers!

As 2024 winds down, I’m excited to share a glimpse of what’s on the horizon for Westward Waters in 2025. We’ve got some big plans in the works, and I can’t wait to take you along for the journey!

First, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ll be launching a rental service at a permanent location—details to be revealed soon. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful paddle or gearing up for an outdoor adventure, having a reliable rental spot will make it easier to get outside and enjoy Oregon’s beautiful waters.

Our guided tours will continue at two incredible locations: Scappoose Bay and Estacada Lake. Scappoose Bay offers lush wetlands perfect for bird and reptile watching, while Estacada Lake provides serene waters surrounded by trees, bridges, and a vibrant ecosystem filled with otters, eagles, trout, and more.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! This fall and winter, I’ll be leading birding tours, perfect for anyone who wants to explore Oregon’s feathered wonders. Along the way, I’ll also be diving deeper into the natural history of this amazing state, learning everything I can to share with you on future adventures.

2025 is shaping up to be a year full of growth, exploration, and new opportunities to connect with nature. Whether you’re joining me on a tour or taking out a rental kayak, I look forward to experiencing the beauty and wild of Oregon with you.
